At the moment, the "SOMEK" Craft Trade employs more than fifty workers including two graduate mechanical engineers, two mechanical engineers, three engineering technicians, and the rest are highly qualified or qualified workers. The machinery consists of about eighty machines, out of which four CNC (computer controlled) milling machines, two CNC turning machines, and two vertical machining centres, teeth grinders up to class 6, and horizontal drilling machines for the machining of large-size workpieces. Universal machines (turning, milling and grinding machines) are additionally equipped with digital position indicators which ensure fast and precise operation.
One of the CNC milling machines is equipped also with a 3D probe with adequate software, enabling object digitisation. High quality work with machines and standard quality of products is ensured by using the sophisticated tools of the world-acknowledged producers, such as Iscar, Sandvik, Keiser, Seco, Kelch etc., and the respective certified materials.
